The Small Town Lottery (STL) operates as a government-sponsored local lottery tailored for provinces and major urban or autonomous cities.

In addition to the Visayas and Mindanao regions, the STL also operates in Northern and Central Luzon (NCL), the Southern Tagalog and Bicol areas (STBR), and the National Capital Region (NCR).

At present, PCSO conducts localized draws exclusively for Region 7 in the Visayas. The segmented draw previously held in Mindanao was discontinued on October 1, 2023, aligning with the directive to utilize national game draw results for STL.

The decision to employ national draw results stems from the PCSO Board Resolution No. 0100 from the 2023 series, coupled with a memorandum issued by the Office of the President (OP) on June 26, 2023. This move aims to tackle ongoing challenges and matters arising in the STL activities, particularly in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

For the Visayas, only the Swer3 draw continues, leaving out other STL offerings like Pares and Swer2. The areas it covers are Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, and Cebu City. Meanwhile, other STL-AACs within the Visayas region are now adhering to PCSO's updated directive.
